This work is an exploration of depth through restraint. A single graphite square, rough at its edges, holds a quiet gravity - a field of darkness that is neither flat nor empty. Layered tone and surface texture create a sense of atmosphere, as though the form contains space rather than simply occupying it. The imperfect border suggests something human, unfinished, and alive. In its simplicity, the square becomes a place to pause, inviting stillness, reflection, and immersion within shadow.
